Hay Fever
Hay Fever occurs when an allergen ( something that causes an allergic reaction ) makes the lining of the nose swollen and inflamed. It also affects eyes ( itching, running ), throat ( dry tickly cough ) and the sinuses.
Hay Fever generally occurs throughout the spring and summer months due to the abundance of pollen in the air.
Allergic rhinitis as it is known can be either a persistent or an intermittent condition. Some sufferers will only occasionally experience symptoms, while others will get far more frequent symptoms.
One in Five people suffer from Hay Fever, and while it cannot be cured there are a number of excellent medications that can be used to alleviate symptoms.
How can I obtain treatment?
If you are suffering from Hay Fever, our doctors can prescribe up to 2 months’ supply of Telfast 120mg (fexofenadine).
Telfast is a prescription only antihistamine that is taken once per day and does not cause drowsiness.
You should consider Telfast if over the counter antihistamine tablets have not eased your symptoms.
What are the side effects of Telfast?
Side effects are rare but include:
· Nausea
· Slight rash on the body
· Headache

You should not use this services if:
· You have a history of liver or kidney disease
· You are pregnant or breastfeeding
· You are allergic to fexofenadine
